Choosing a school for your student is an important personal step in charting their future path. Toward this end, St. Vrain offers a diverse and extensive selection of rigorous academic and co-curricular programs that provide you and your student choice in selecting a school that best aligns with their interests and educational goals.
Mountain View Elementary welcomes students from the Longmont community, across St. Vrain Valley Schools, and neighboring districts in a dynamic and supportive school environment.
Neighborhood School Enrollment
You can confirm if Mountain View Elementary is your neighborhood school on the district’s Maps and Boundaries page.
If you reside in Mountain View’s neighborhood boundaries, you can enroll your student online.
Open Enrollment
Students who desire to attend a school or program outside of their designated attendance area may apply for Open Enrollment/Nonresidence authorization for the school or program of their choice. In order to apply, an Open Enrollment/Nonresident Application must be filled out online.
Kindergarten Registration
St. Vrain Valley School District offers free full-day kindergarten at every elementary school.
To enroll in kindergarten, students must turn 5 on or before Oct. 1 of that school year. You must enroll your student online, if you need help doing this please contact the school office
Preschool Registration
St. Vrain offers four day programs for both three and four year old students. Students must be three or four years of age on or before October 1st of that school year to enroll.
Mountain View Elementary’s preschool class schedules are:
AM session: 8:25am – 11:05 am, Mon – Thurs AM
PM session: 12:20pm – 3:00 pm, Mon – Thurs PM
Full day preschool session: 8:25 am – 3:00 pm, Mon – Thurs
