Mission

Striving for Happy Students, Educators, and Parents working together towards the common goal of a superior education for our children!

Our purpose as an organization is to provide a liaison between Mountain View Elementary School parents and the school staff. We work to secure the best possible education for our school’s children through joint efforts of the educators and general public.

Overview

Mountain View Elementary Parent Teacher Organization is a non-profit organization which supports the students, parents, and staff of Mountain View Elementary School in Longmont, CO. We are a group of dedicated parents who volunteer our time and talents, not only to ensure our students success, but the success of our school and ALL of its students.

We are always looking for new volunteers. We know parents are busy people, and we value and respect your time! Even if you can only volunteer for a specific event or portion of an event, we would love to have you! If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, contact us on FaceBook, through the school, or pop into one of our meetings.

District Committees

The District has several committees that were formulated to provide valuable assistance and guidance to the Board of Education, the Superintendent, and District departments. These committees offer District residents a hands on opportunity to become directly involved in the decision making process that helps to determine how the District operates and the direction it is headed.
