Hi, Everyone! My name is Nick Burrous. I have a beautiful family with my wife, Sarah and our 2 children. My professional background is in preschool and nursery childcare. I joined SVVSD in 2010 and have been teaching kindergarten since then except for a 2 year stint in second grade. My B.A. is in English, and I received a Master’s Degree in Literacy Curriculum and Instruction from CU Boulder. I believe in nurturing well-rounded students who take joy and pride in excelling at their talents while always possessing the humility and tenacity to improve areas of weakness. When I am not teaching I am probably relaxing with my family outdoors, or cozied up reading comic books. I love to read, draw, watch movies and play music. Let’s make this a great year!
